The sun slips away again. My father used to say that ... when a man casts a long shaddow ... you knew the sun was setting. Today is the third anniversary of Dad's passing to be forever with the Lord. Did you ever think that the very moment you see the last of the sun on a horizon that there was someone standing somewhere on earth seeing their very first glimpse of it? The end of the day here is the beginning of a new day somewhere else. In a moment, Dad was suddenly changed. A new day had begun and the pain and trial of this life was over. Thinking of you today Pops! Glad you are there.
