This photo was taken in a California hotel parking lot (actually near trash cans) ... on January 15th. Even the garbage cans here are surrounded with colorful splendor! This is exactly the kind of picture that seems a little unfair to the brave citizens of Chicago, Minneapolis, Green Bay, Detroit and a hundred other northern cities at this time of the year. However, I still love posting these for those who want to close their eyes and think of the new life of the coming spring.
Where's all that global warming now?
