But seriously, theres no reason to do it. Its not like the movie stealing industry is promoted with the iPod video, and the fact people are willing to BUY THE VIDEO from iTunes in the first place shows good intentions. If I wanted to stealit, I'd rent the DVD, crack it, and stick it on my iPod, instead of buying off iTunes for a video specific apple device.

They make no sense.

pearhouseFeb 5, 02:04 PMI have a grid of thumbnail images on my HTML page. When you click on an image, the background fades and a larger version of that chosen image pops up for better viewing. However, it pops up BEHIND the horizontal Menu Machine links. This menu bar stretches across the top of the page just under the main banner.

How can I fix it so the inflated image isn't obscured by the menu bar?

Bottom Red = Reverse
Right-Botton Black = Thrust
Right-Top Black = Fire
Top White = Smart Bomb
Bottom White = Hyperspace

On Stargate you could assign one of the others to the Stealth mode button too.

They NEED 2 versions of iCade - one with joystick, the other with a Trackball and Knob... ;)

My phone is on its last leg, dropping calls all of the time, have to charge it 3 times a day. If I had known this, I would have already bought a 4...If I had known that Apple was selling at $7/share in 2001 and would be at $350/share today, I'd be a rich man.

Apple owes you nothing. They don't announce anything anyway, so this is nothing new. Just, chill out. If you need a phone, go get a phone. The iPhone 4 is incredible tech. If you want to wait for the latest and greatest, buying something used and stick your sim card in it to get you through.

ghostface147Apr 13, 09:39 AMThere honestly is no need to update the iPhone line EVERY year at this point. iPhone 4 was the biggest jump and I don't see a reason to jump again so soon, especially after Verizon customers JUST recived access to the phone. I can understand updating the models to include 4G, but at this point 4G IMHO is not needed. It's not a mature enough standard to expect iPhone owners to have smooth service with Verizon and AT&Ts 4G networks. I see them both being great next year, but it'd be a forced move on Apples part.

I disagree in some ways. Physically there may not need to be a strong reason to upgrade, but with competitors moving so quickly, Apple has to release new hardware. Whether it be NFC, LTE or dual-core, something has to be done to refresh and have something new in buyers minds.

Granted at this point I think the i4 is speedy enough as it is and it's mostly software now. Things like notifications and other related annoyances.

how big is a "slight" gap? well I guess I won't be getting one then because I don't see why I should buy an ipod that can't play back albums properly! my first gen shuffle was completely dead for the past two months until last week when the new utility brought it back, so I can't justify a new shuffle and will probably end up eventually getting one of the nanos (wish the 8GB one came in different colours including the project red version). And my first gen 10GB scroll wheel iPod is still working fine 4 1/2 years after I got it!

decafjavaApr 7, 05:06 PMI wonder how many of these posts are trolls? I haven't had any issues whatsoever with 4.3.1. I also didn't have any problems with 4.3; battery life has been absolutely stellar and call performance actually improved in 4.3.1.

The timing of all these "bitching" posts just seems suspicious.

Maybe, but there have been some issues. The battery thing was real. 4.3.1 improved it for me.

z4n3Nov 13, 10:50 AMShake was pretty much the standard compositing tool for big budget movies when Apple discontinued it. So, a lot of people were using it, funnily, a lot of people still using it, despite being discontinued, it's still a solid product.

I still use Shake and have had no issues.... :D

At least, that's what I'm assuming Apple's point of view was.
